These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ServeMaster Academy ("we", "us", or "our") at servemasteracademy.ca. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use ServeMaster Academy. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the platform on behalf of a restaurant or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false information.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

All prices are in CAD. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Team plans are billed per location per month.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at support@servemasteracademy.ca and we will review your case.

6. Team Plans and Manager Accounts

Restaurant managers who subscribe to a Team plan may invite staff members using a unique invite link. Staff members who join under a restaurant location receive access to platform features covered by that location's plan. Managers are responsible for the conduct of their staff members on the platform. If a Team subscription is cancelled, associated staff members will revert to Free plan access.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ServeMaster Academy — including training modules, scenarios, scripts, design, and branding — is owned by ServeMaster Academy and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Your training progress data belongs to you and can be exported or deleted upon request.

8. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued upon finishing qualifying training modules. These certificates are for personal and professional development purposes. They are not accredited by any regulatory body and do not constitute a professional license or certification recognized by government authorities.

9. AI-Generated Content

Roleplay responses are generated by AI and are intended for training purposes only. They may not always reflect real-world situations accurately. ServeMaster Academy is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated training content.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

ServeMaster Academy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, error-free, or that training content will produce specific career outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServeMaster Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by prominently posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
